We can design and build motor control resistors of any type for any application, including:
• Wound-rotor AC motors with slip ring starters
• DC motor starters
• Field discharge resistors
• Torque-increasing resistors for use with soft starters
• Wauchope and closed-transition starters

Although these types of motor and control system are in many cases being supplanted by AC variable speed drives of one sort or another, it remains the case that many new installations make use of traditional resistor-based motor control on grounds of cost, simplicity and reliability.
