HISTORY
 Since its creation in 1992, TPR has established itself as a capable and quality-conscious supplier of power resistors for neutral earthing, dynamic braking, motor control and generator load testing.
RECENT DEVELOPMENTS
In 2006 TPR purchased Cressall Resistors and, by merging them created Britain's largest resistor manufacturer. (Click this link to visit Cressall's web site)
New products include a range of three load banks of 4, 6 and 100kW rating, all dual voltage and suitable for both AC and DC test voltages, as well as the much larger 3MW design for locomotive testing.
We are continuously improving the range of our manufacturing capabilities, last year adding new coil winding and metal forming machines. Enclosure construction as well as panel building is now done in the UK.

RESOURCES
We have calibrated test equipment for all routine testing. For high power or high voltage testing, including impulse tests up to 400kV and full load testing of load banks and brake resistors at up to 2MW continuous rating, there is an extensive and well equipped test facility at Piacenza.

TPR is the British partner of Telema SpA of Italy, the leading European power resistor manufacturer.
We have the resources, experience and space to continue the development of TPR and Cressall in the coming years. Telema believes in establishing strong, majority-owned companies in important overseas markets, in order to give prompt and effective local support to their customers.
We have partner companies in France, Germany, the US and here in the UK, as well as a strong network of distributors in other countries around the world.
